Web Site Committee
Minutes June 28th, 2005
Attendance: Joe Bonapace, Grant Fletcher and Carol Masiello

Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm

Motion made by Joe Bonapace and seconded by Grant Fletcher to accept the May 15th minutes. Passed 3-0.

The link for paying bills online is ready and will go into service exactly on July 1. Cindy at Unibank who is in the Municipal Department has been very helpful in setting this up. Cortney Keegan is very positive about the success of this and wanted the assurance that the online payment would not be active till July 1.

The private tech audit of the town listed as its number one concern the fact that town personnel did not have the same email address. The web site committee had notified department heads in the past of the availability of uxbridge-ma.gov emails and only a few had requested the new address. Currently 35 emails are being used with the school department and the veteran's agent declining the new addresses. The Board of Health has replied in the affirmative as well as Larry Bombara who asked for emails for each of his employees.

Grant asked Carol to get a list of the members of the Capitol Improvement Committee.

The future purpose of the committee is to "polish", upgrade and get ready for administrative staff to update the site.

Carol will ask Holly for voter registration information to be placed on the site.
