Property Owners should keep in mind that inspections and occupancy permits may be required any time any part of the building undergoes a change in the Use Group or Hazard Index (as defined by The Building Code). Compliance with the Building Code (and other regulations) lies with the Property Owner.

Owners may wish to track EXISTING and PROPOSED Use Groups and Hazard Indices. That way, owners will have documentation from one user to another, or from one product/service to another.
