I am writing to invite you and all seniors to our upcoming Senior Safety Symposium on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Worcester Senior Center, 122 Providence Street, in Worcester from 9 am to 2 pm. This event is sponsored by the Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff's Association and we have a great fun filled educational day for all who attend. We encourage all to attend this event beginning at 9 am with our first presentation on Fighting Fraud from the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, When to Call 911 from District Fire Chief Joseph Flanagan, How to be Your Best Advocate in the Hospital from Robert Ready, St. Vincent Hospital and Dr. Matilde Castiel on Your Community Resources!
We will also have Safety Bingo, Free Community Resources, Raffle Prizes and a Summer Barbecue Lunch all included for free!
Please feel free to bring as many seniors from your senior center as we have plenty of space for attendees. Sheriff Lew and our team will be on hand as well as various resources to take back medication, sharps, Second Chance Animal Shelter will have adoptable pets on hand and so much more!
