Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) and West Nile Virus (WNV) Alert Notice - Second Round of Aerial Spraying Complete

Uxbridge is at Critical Risk of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) and low risk of West Nile Virus (WNV).  The Uxbridge Board of Health and the State are urging residents to continue to take personal precautions to prevent mosquito bites.  While the spraying activity is expected to reduce the mosquitoes that spread EEE/WNV, it will NOT eliminate risk.

The second round of aerial spraying for mosquitoes was completed on the evening of 9/15/2019.  No additional rounds of aerial spraying are scheduled at this time.
