PER- AND POLYFLUOROALKYL SUBSTANCES (PFAS) MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVEL (MCL) NOTICE OF NONCOMPLIANCE (NON)

Our water system received notification of PFAS6 results showing that our system violated the 20 ng/L PFAS6 Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) drinking water standard during the October – December 2025 quarterly compliance period, with an average of 22 ng/L from our Blackstone Street Water Treatment Plant. This facility is served by two wells. The well with elevated PFAS6 levels (Blackstone Street Well 2) was removed from service on December 31, 2025, and will remain offline until the treatment plant is constructed to remove PFAS6 below the MCL.
